Lingyi Li is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City whose work moves fluidly between digital environments and physical craft. Drawing from queer and Asian identities, his practice examines how materials—virtual or tangible—can hold emotional tension, vulnerability, and transformation.

Across interactive experiences, virtual imagery, and hand-formed objects, Lingyi explores the shifting boundaries between body and material, surface and sensation. His works often evoke a quiet friction between desire and restraint, revealing how identity is shaped, performed, and embodied across both digital and physical planes.

He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and an MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).
